About you
You’re the leader of a business. There might be some support from your team, but the big decisions are all yours. Most of the big ideas come from you, as do many of the solutions.
Your skill set and experience is broad, but you can’t do it all. There are some aspects of business that you find harder than others, and you’re not always confident that these are being managed in the best way.
You try to delegate more, and seek to empower people, but despite this you’re busier than ever. You regularly work on the weekend, and also on holidays too. You find it very hard to switch off.
You want to be a better leader, run a better business, and have more time for your family, friends, and for yourself.
If you already believe you know it all, and that there’s little or nothing you can learn, then you’re not for us. Very occasionally we have had to politely ask a know-it-all to leave a group. But if you recognise that learning starts with the leader, that there’s so much more to learn and implement, and you want to be with a likeminded group of people on a similar, but different, journey, then you’re the sort of person who will benefit from membership of Leaders.inc.
About Us
We’re built businesses from scratch, and helped build others, many to a value over £10million, and one to £300million.
We’ve recruited likeminded chairs with significant entrepreneurial experience, all of whom still have their own business interests. Their backgrounds vary from leading start-ups to main board positions for FTSE 250 companies, and everything in between.
Our roster of speakers is truly world class. There are about 70 currently, whose specialist topics cover all aspects of business such as marketing, people, systems and processes, finance, and of course, leadership. Their backgrounds, and experience, are diverse – a marketing guru who was Executive Creative Director for the agency that created ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ for Audi, a Royal Marine officer responsible for extracting the British forces from Helmand province, reporting directly to the Prime Minister, and a Cambridge graduate economist who went to Las Vegas to study human risk-taking and decision-making which resulted in him becoming James Bond’s poker advisor on Casino Royale.
All our speakers deliver a highly interactive workshop, giving members the opportunity to discuss their own business challenges and opportunities, and to gain insight, and ideas from these experts.
